BEAUTIFUL PANORAMIC IMAGES OF WRIGLEY FIELD AND A DOUBLE RAINBOW OVER WRIGLEY!
The baseball panoramic images capture the magic of watching a game at Wrigley Field, especially with the Air Force Thunderbirds fly over. The Thunderbirds flew low behind the scoreboard and came directly over the field stopping play during the second inning of a Cubs vs. Pirates Game. The engine roar was tremendous as was the ovation after the fly over. The Cubs were beating the Pirates 14-0 in the second. The fly over added to the festive weekend of the Chicago Air and Water Show.

A rare double rainbow at Wrigley Field before the June 22, 2008 ESPN Cubs vs. White Sox Sunday night game. A tribute to Ron Santo with images that tug at the heart.   Cub's Starlin Castro batting form, Darwin Barney, close plays at first base with Bryan Lahair and second base with Starlin Castro, Tony Campana steals, Ernie Banks and John Grisham singing during the 7th inning stretch, Len Kasper and Bob Brenly watching.

Beautiful panoramic images of night and day games from different perspectives and sky conditions, and the post game scoreboard view. Images not readily captured by visitors to the city or Wrigley Field.

The image entitled "Double Rainbow Over Wrigley Field Before 2008 Cubs Vs White Sox Game" captures the REAL MAGIC of watching a baseball game at Wrigley Field. This is the only high quality resolution image of a double rainbow over Wrigley Field in existence. It was the Sunday night ESPN game of the week featuring the crosstown classic battle between the Cubs vs. White Sox on June 22, 2008. It rained hard and batting practice was cancelled. Half an hour before game time, the clouds parted and the sun peaked out over the third baseline upper deck. A rare double rainbow appeared for about 10 minutes and most of the crowd was not there to enjoy it. I shot over 10 high resolution images and then the rainbows vanished. The clouds parted, the ground crew removed the tarp, the crowd arrived, including a soon to be convicted Illinois Governor, the game went on and Ryan Dempster led the Cubs to victory. The final score: the Cubs defeated the White Sox 7 -1 on 8 hits, including a home run by Aramis Ramirez. As the game progressed, magnificent sunset afterglow painted the sky with brillant hues captured in the image entitled "2008 Cubs Vs White Sox ESPN Sunday Night Game".

The image entitled "Ron Santo 2012 Baseball Hall of Fame Tribute" is a mosaic capturing the magic and passion of Ron Santo as a baseball player, broadcaster, and number 1 Cub fan.

I was at Wrigley Field the day Ron Santo was laid to rest. The flag, flowers, and marquee tributes at the ball park inspired me to create this mosaic image on December 25, 2010 I still had the black and white photographs I took of Ron in 1964, when he also signed an autograph for this 13 year old Cub fan. I even saved my ticket stub and 1964 and 1969 Cub Media Books, which are also included. With the addition of 2009 images of Ron being “Ron” with Pat Hughes during the 7th Inning stretch and key career statistics, something was missing from the mosaic’s first issue. The final piece came in 2012 with the placard celebrating Ron Santo’s induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Ron, I will always remember your passion and dedication to the game and life.

The image "Cubs vs Boston Red Sox Panoramic View of Wrigley Field" captures the panoramic view of Wrigley Field action on a warm summer day. Taken from a seat behind home plate and the television camera crews, Ryan Dempster is facing Kevin Youkilis with a runner on first. The 4th inning action takes place with the Cubs leading 3-0. Both players were traded within 45 days. Players may change, but the beautiful views remain.
Dempster pitched four-hit ball over seven innings, and the Cubs hung on to beat team president Theo Epstein's former club, topping the struggling Boston Red Sox 3-0 on Friday, June 15, 2012. In his 15th season in the majors and ninth with the Cubs, Dempster had an expiring contract. Dempster (3-3) stretched his scoreless innings streak to 22 and lowered his ERA to 2.11 with another dominant performance. Dempster also helped himself at the plate with two hits. He won a $500 bet with Tony Campana when he came through with his second career triple past a diving right fielder Adrian Gonzalez scoring in the second to make it 3-0, after Steve Clevenger hit a two-run, bases-loaded double off Daisuke Matsuzaka (0-2) in the first. Attendance was 40,073 with many Red Sox fans in attendance.
